WP8: Private actors
We study the emergence of private service providers in due diligence. We map different types of services and technologies and examine differences in levels of regulatory alignment.
Core activities:
- Identification of key players in the market of due diligence services in the Belgian food sector through a survey of companies and additional desk research
- Development of a typology of private service providers (e.g. lawyers, consultants, auditors, digital platforms)
- Case studies of at least three companies with different service models
- Analysis of differences in approaches and their alignment with legal due diligence obligations
